my name is Maria, I'm from Moscow, Russia.
I love cats (have 3, named Монетка ("A little coin"), Перчик ("A little pepper") and Булочка ("A little bun"), but not on cards actually… Pigs, vintage, blue colour, history and culture, fantasy, whimsy things etc. Huge fan of LOTR, especially dwarves, Black Sails and Harry Potter)
Some of my favourite writers are Anton Chekhov, Theodore Dreiser, Louise Penny, Remark. I adore detective stories (Poirot series with David Suchet and Soviet Sherlock Holmes are the best of the best!)
Love to eat, not much love to cook)) At this time I’m really into middle Asian cuisine (like Uzbek cuisine).
I have a lot of hobbies like sewing (especially vintage and historical costumes, that is love of my life (except 1920s)), knitting, crocheting and try a lot just for fun.
Don’t like photos and nature/landscapes, but it’s not a strict rule or so, feel free to send me anything you want!
I'm a student and my profession is the teacher of Russian as a foreign language. I really love culture and history of my country and want to share my love all over the world, because we have much more than Putin and vodka.
Want to try as much as possible (not in dangerous/creepy way). If I have a small amount of free time, I will make historical belts, or grow worms for kitchen composting or million other strange things.
It will be cool, if you send me a postcard with hobbies (or with historical costumes, patterns etc.). But if not - don’t worry, I will be happy to get anything you want!
