Hello, Folks!

Name's Maria and I'm a native to a really b-e-a-utiful itsy bitsy coutry called Lithuania! :)
I love the process of learning, and am in love with books - old, new, dusty, ripped, whatever. I love history. Roses. Chocolate. Mummies. Biology. I adore old ships and the smell of sea, as if I have a soul of an old sailor. There's a strong desire in me to travel, to find myself in the middle of nowhere; on top of the mountain; in Antarctica; in the jungle; in 1918 (where's that time machine?!) and take care of those infected with Influenza; in the middle of the war, etc. Wanderlust is my middle name :D. As for my hobbies - I'm inlove with colours and pencils, and the smell of paper, so I draw. A lot, even though during the past 2 years all my time was eaten by school and studying, because one day two years ago I felt suicidal and became an International Baccalaureate student. Since then it has been sucking all the vitality from my life. I am also crazy about old stuff. Speaking about postcards, I love:

• Jack Vettriano works
• Works of Leonid Afremov
• Vintage cars (my favourite is '66 Shelby)
• vintage clothes
• Old music bands (I looove Guns N' Roses and Queen)
• pin-up girls
• Inge Look
• Old ships
• black/white or sepia postcards
• Sunsets, stars, night sky (preferably single-view, not multi)
• Ballet
• Vineyards, grapes, wine, cheese.
• Gaudi. I love Gaudi.
• If You're from JAPAN, then I would die for a postcard with Hayao Miyazaki's art. Or with Mount Fuji.
• Trains/train stations
• Autumn and winter views
• Venetian stuff: photos of carnivals, masks, etc.
• Pictures with balconies, old door, old haunted houses
• Renaissance or Baroque views(palaces, gowns, paintings)
• Anything that looks enchanted, magic and miraculous...

... and look through my favourites.

If it is possible and doesn't make any difficulties, could You, please, not send me advertisement and map cards?

One more thing: when You send a postcard, write a lot on the other side! White anything: weather conditions, favourite quotes, books, movies, a few lines from a favourite song, describe Your mood, etc.
