Hello dear postcrosser,

I am Marieke, 18 years old and inhabitant of the Netherlands. I go to grammar school, where I attend my final year. Next year I will start my education in Artificial Intelligence. I am very excited about the new subjects and student life!
At any point in the near future, I hope to be able to continue my education in the United Kingdom. This has been a childhood dream, so hopefully the opportunity will present itself!

I enjoy spending time with my family, reading and I play both field hockey and flute. I cannot sing or dance. I like to go to bed early. I love learning new things, especially anything math-related. Pancakes are my favorite food. And I think tv is overrated.

All postcards will end up on my wall, because I am so thankful for all of them. Any kind of card makes me happy, although I would like you to write about yourself, your aspirations, things you value or your perception of the world. If there is an interesting math problem you know: please share! Receiving a quote from your favorite book or poem would make me happy as well!
