About Marga...

Hallo!
My name is Marga, I'm a primary school teacher from the Netherlands.
Sending and receiving postcard makes me really happy :-) First I will tell something more about myself. At the bottom you can find some ideas of cards to send to me.

I collect everything that has to do with ducks! Especially rubber ducks, I have more than 200 of them.
A postcard which shows a duck would therefore be very welcome (pictures of real ducks, cartoon figures, illustrations, pictures of rubber ducks, cards by Kaj Stenvall). Please include the word for duck in your own language, that would be really great!

Another hobby of mine is to go to concerts. I like bands like Muse, Florence + the Machine, Snow Patrol, Kate Nash, Maria Mena, Adele, and so on. If you know an artist (from your country) you think I should listen to (rock, alternative, indie, britpop), please tell me about it!

I also am a scouting volunteer. Every Saturday I teach little boys and girls about nature, culture, society and other fun stuff!

The suggestions below are not demands! Please feel free to send a card you think I will like.
Some ideas:
- illustrations of cats, I really love the cards of Kotovasiya. It would be really, really great if you could send me one!
- illustrations of ducks (of course)
- illustrations of trees, flowers, birds (or all together)
- puzzle illustrations like Lali (Correspondances)
- illustrations from children's books (please tell me what the story is about)
- illustrations in black and white
- illustrations from Inkognito
- unusual illustrations of the globe or world map
- cards featuring books
- pictures or illustrations that somehow relate to the mail (letters, mailboxes, etc.)
- cards with hearts
- a card that made you laugh, please explain why
- cards that show historical buildings from your country (churches, temples, castles, monuments, ruins, etc.)
- for more ideas, take a look at my favorites. I don't have any of those cards yet.

To avoid doubles, I would appreciate it if you'd check my collection:

Please write something on the back of the card about the card, why you chose that card for me, you, your life, where you live, your culture, local history, the last thing that made you laugh, or anything else! I feel the back of the card is as important as the front.

Lately I'm trying to learn French. When you can, I would appreciate it if you write in French. A translation isn't necessary.

I'm looking forward to sending and receiving postcards.
Marga
