About Claire...

I'm Claire.
My lovely husband is Eric and we have 4 children : 1 son and 3 daughters , from 32 to 25. My best moments are when we are all together with my children and their beloved.
I'm retired (june30th 2020) after 35 years teaching french and 3 years as coordinator in the same school.
We live in Brussels (but before I was living in Liège and Namur)
We love travelling for short or long journeys. I have visited : France, Luxemburg, Germany, Netherlands, United Kingdom Ireland, Switzerland, Austria, Liechtenstein, Spain (including Canary Islands and Ibiza), Portugal (including Madera and Azores), Greece (including Creta, Santorini, Rhodos), Italy, Malta, Croatia, Slovenia, Hungary, Norway, Finland, Czech republic, Marocco and USA (only New York city and state at this moment).
I collect postcards since a long time.
I discover Postcrossing 9 years ago and I like it very much. It takes the most part of my free time. I love meeting new friends with Postcrossing meet-ups (till now, I have participate to 30 meet-up or mini-meet-up in Belgium, France, Germany and Luxembourg).

I love all real postcards
If you want to make me happy, please send me a card from your own country :
- typical houses of your country
- special meals, food or drinks from your country
- vintage posters (travel, food…)
- writing, school
Or choose something special from your country.
All nice cards are welcome.

Please, have a look on my albums on Facebook to avoid doubles https://www.facebook.com/claire.franckart.10

I don't like multiviews cards (my eyes are not so good to see small pictures), folded cards, animals and homemade. Keep them for people who love them.

And, what do you think about Belgium ? Tell me about in 3 words ! And write me 3 words to describe your country too ;-)

If it's possible for you, send your card in an envelope because I give the stamps to friends (even if I know that 's not in Postcrossing rules, sorry)
I'll be happy to read you soon.

Oh something else : choosing a card, writing it, sending it take time and money. Please, don't forget to register the card you'll receive. It's a kind of respect for those who give you a part of them when sending you a card.

Happy Postcrossing !
Claire
