Hello around the world,

My name is Thomas and after a change in my life I live in Braunschweig, Germany with my new love since 2017.
My daughter is 28 and lives in Ireland.
My son is 26 and works as a child-care-worker.

On my avatar you see one wall of my room with one card of every country I received a card yet.
Can you find your country? And if so and it is no flag card I would be very happy to get one. Hope to get a lot more of flag cards.

I'm working at the administration of the German customs authority..
My hobbies are sports (running (24 marathons until now), biking), reading (Science Fiction, Fantasy but also funny books like Terry Pratchett etc.), music (the good old 80th (Alan Parsons Project, Pink Floyd, ELO...) and travelling.
2 years ago my wife convinced me to try a cruise to spent my holiday......and I loved it. Since then I visited Great Britain, France, Netherland, Belgium, Norway, Denmark, Turkey, Egypt, Jordan, Oman, Dubai, Sri Lanka, Malaysia and Singapore by cruise ship and I am sure more countries will follow :)

When I heard about postcrossing I was fascinated at once.
I think it's great to get in contact with people all around the world.
And perhaps it helps a little bit, that people understand each other better.
