About Anna-Maija...

Hello! (Hei or Moi in Finnish)

My name is Anna-Maija (yes, my first name is Anna-Maija, not Anna :-)). I live in Turku, the oldest town in Finland. I love art, theatre, museums, creating, reading, nature, different cultures, autumn with rain, colours and dark nights, Finnish bright summer nights, candles, tea, cafeterias, chocolate, surprises, walking around, flea markets, recycling...and cats :-) I have a dream to travel more, especially in Europe. And maybe I'll have, in the future, a small cottage with an old garden; a place where I can walk without shoes and take a nap under a tree :-)

I like to write, send and receive letters and postcards (and some surprises, too). So I'm very glad I've found this Postcrossing. This is a fine way to meet people!! I'll be happy of all kinds of postcards and mail (the picture on the card is not the main thing in PC, the communication between people is, so the message on the backside is very important), especially when you are telling something about yourself and your everyday life, the house where you live... what ever you want to. I hope that a postcard you'll send to me is somehow connected to you or your country. You don't have to please me! Don't forget the date, please. First of all Postcrossing is all about real mail and I think that f.ex. ad cards can be really interesting!!

I love to make some altered books, junk journals, quilting.... Maybe you would like to send me some small materials (a piece of fabrics, a button, a ribbon, some lace, some beautiful paper or a picture or a page from a local magazine, an old book page...) for those? I'll be very happy and grateful :-) :-)

I'm waiting to hear regards from all over the world! And send some from here, too!!

PS.1) I like all the (post)cards I'll receive. You really don't have to wish (or write) if I do!! In favourites I'll put those I like very very very much :-) So don't be disappointed if you don't see your postcard in my favourites.
PS.2) I will never register a card without having it. If you are going to ask for it, please, read the Community Guidelines first.
PS.3) And I feel it's very cruel and rude to register a card without writing any message or to tell in your profile what kind of cards you don't want or to write a long list about cards you want to receive. All those are so much against the idea of Postcrossing, and also against the Community Guidelines.
