About Kate...

Hello lovelies! :D

What a wonderful project this is. I hope that through sending and collecting cards, I will learn of new cultures and wonderful places to visit!

A little bit about myself:
I enjoy photography, cooking and baking, and travel. I also love video games! I live in Ottawa, Canada.

I would LOVE to receive the following:
> Touristy cards and famous landmarks
> Map cards (especially if you are from United States! I have California, Ohio, Hawaii, Michigan, Kansas, Virginia, South Carolina, Florida, Delaware, Arizona so far)

I also like:

> "Keep Calm & ..."
> Watercolour art
> Famous paintings or sculptures
> Vintage (especially old movie posters or newspaper/magazine covers)
> Film noir/noir book covers
> Victorian era
> Steampunk-themed
> Venetian masks or anything to do with Venice
> Patterns/mosaic
> Textiles
> Umbrellas
> Sweets or tea
> Jetoy cat
> Recipes
> Wildlife & fish (especially wolves, leopards, elephants, giraffes, goldfish, tang fish)
> Birds (owls, parrots, chickadees, finches)
> Ladybugs & butterflies
> Sakura, jacaranda, wisteria, apple trees
> Pretty landscapes and seascapes
> Trains
> Winter holiday cards
> Birthday cards if you're sending it in March <3

Overall, I just like bright and colourful cards!
But please, no ad cards! I also don't like cards with alcohol, nudity or violence.

Please don't just write "Happy Postcrossing!" :)
Here are some ideas for what you can include instead:
- WRITE WHAT MADE YOU HAPPY TODAY (I am collecting happiness experiences from across the world :) ) Doesn't matter if it's something big or small, just take a moment to reflect on your day and write down what comes to mind.
- Write a few lines about yourself
- Name a place in your country that you think any tourist should visit
- Share a name of a book you would recommend or music you've recently listened to
- Share a recipe for your favourite dessert

Thank you in advance, and happy Postcrossing!
~ Kate
