Hi! Nice to meet you! I'm Madeleine, a college freshman from Taipei, Taiwan who's eager to make new friends~ I enjoy writing very much, mostly about my experiences or anything I read. I also love playing table tennis, watching anime, and listening to music. English is the language I love most, but I'm fascinated by Japanese culture and wish to learn Japanese as well. Though I'm from Taiwan, a country where people speak Mandarin, I still prefer English and Japanese songs 😉

I absolutely love Postcrossing! People nowadays use social media so often that they don't understand the joy of handwriting mail and pasting stamps. In my opinion, this is a wonderful chance for me to spread warmth and compassion through carefully written postcards, and finally be able to use stamps instead of collecting them like how I used to when I was a young kid.

It’s been quite a while since I last traveled outside of Taiwan(I’m not very fond of jet lag and being on an airplane 🥲), so I wish to learn more about other countries and their cultures through your postcards. You’re welcome to send me postcards of your country and share the cultures of your country with me! I also like any fun or silly postcards, so just be creative~

Here are some ideas for postcard choices: (things I like)
- Miffy/米飛/ミッフィー
- all kinds of anime, ex. 鬼滅の刃、推しの子、SPY×FAMILY、かぐや様は告らせたい、文豪ストレイドッグス…
- YOASOBI and other Jpop singers and bands
- art and illustrations 🖼️
- cute animals such as cats🐱, hamsters🐹, bunnies🐰…
- music🎵
- beautiful sceneries (city views or nature)

As long as you put your heart into writing or picking out a postcard, I’ll cherish any postcard you send ;)
