I'm really glad to participate in this great community! To make postcrossing interesting and pleasant to everyone, here are some points that will be helpful in choosing the card for me. Don't lose the chance to acquaint with it and I will do the same for you ;)

- friendship related
- contemporary and past centuries' uniforms (police, military, toreadors, etc)
- retro/black & white/vintage
- books, libraries
- running, jumping people
- post theme (letters, stamps, postmen, etc)
- illustrations of classical literature
- contemporary art (paintings, sculptures, installations, etc)
- night views
- dancing (jazz-modern, tango, flamenco, latin, etc)
- pantomime, mimes, living statues
- human silhouettes
- karate, capoeira, aikido, wushu and martial arts with cold weapon
- music related (instruments, musicians, notes, etc)
- hugs&kisses
- underwater life (dolphins, sea bottom, sunken boats, shells, etc)
- bird's-eye views
- women wearing shirts, suit jackets, ties
- typical food and dishes of your country
- holidays and festivals (Christmas, New Year, etc), typical holidays of your culture are certainly welcome :)
- typical objects of your country (like matreshka for Russia :))
- water related (seas, oceans, waterfalls, etc)
- sunrises, sunsets
- subcultures
- fantasy (fairies, unicorns, dragons, etc)
- writing materials
- painting materials (brushes, palettes, paints, canvas, etc)
- fire performances
- national costume of your country
- swimming, windsurfing
- street scenes
- aurora borealis/northern lights
- real statues of lions with their "address" :)

And, of course, here are some types of cards, that I WOULDN'T like to receive:
- typical tourists' views

- what are you dreaming of
- your 5 favourites, I mean books, films, countries, etc.
- reveal your associations with Russia and russian people, that you have
- a story about the first time you did something
- your favourite aphorism :)
- the last greatest event in your life!

- your mood :)
- What time is it, when you are writing :)

Communicating in different languages really inspires me, so I find great an idea if you write me in your language (the whole text if it is one of those, that I have mentioned and some words with translation, if it is completely unknown to me). Your drawings are welcome!

I believe that we must send to each other not only postcards, but also cheerful mood!
