About Diana...

Hi everybody,

My name is Diana. I live in the south of Russia in warm and cozy Krasnodar. In previous years I’ve worked as an accountant at university and studied there at the same time. I didn't really enjoy working in the economic field but as long as I could help students manage their problems- I was satisfied. Luckily, I had enough courage and support to make a change in my life and now I'm a qualified ESL teacher. I've spent half a year in Shenzhen (China), where I taught English to Chinese kids. Then I acquired my CELTA certificate in Scotland and dived into language teaching in my hometown. Since then, I've also been working as a methodologist and material writer for a big Russian online educational company.
And I must say, I'm still searching for my ideal job.

I lead a healthy lifestyle, I’m keen on traveling, hiking, backpacking and all the nature around. Some time ago I started to practice meditation in order to calm myself and find clarity in my thoughts.
Recently, I discovered an inner artist, so now I'm practicing some basic sketching skills, trying to get a hang of it.
Also, I'm into running even if it's not easy for me (maybe one day I'll be strong enough to run a marathon). I think I just can't imagine my life without any sport activities. I'm totally fond of board games of any kind. And last but not least - cooking! It's just so much fun trying some new recipes and treating my friends and family with delicious and authentic dishes from around the world (if you have a great recipe of yours - please, share it with me).
I also adore poetry, literature, rare and vintage stuff. I'm learning foreign languages, a bit playing the guitar.

I would be totally happy to learn more about your daily life rituals and habits, to hear some bizarre and maybe funny stories that happened to you, anything you're ready to share. Any types of postcards are welcomed! Handmade cards, cards with photos, cards with envelopes (I'll be on the cloud nine if you could put something like a tea bag or other small souvenirs inside the envelope) and unique cards are absolutely accepted and appreciated.

Hope to hear from you soon!
