Hi everyone!

My name is Lonneke, a Hotel Management student from The Netherlands. I have always liked receiving letters postcards, but now that I'm a student I don't get that much mail... So when I heard about postcrossing I immediately registered :)

In my free time I really like to bake things such as pies or cakes, or play the piano, sitting at a terrace in the city centre and enjoy a glass of white wine with my girlfriends, I could watch the movie Pride and Prejudice every single day, read a good book or travel. One of the biggest passions in my live is Italy, especially the city of Venice. I just love everything about it :)

I don't really have a preference when it comes to what type of postcards I would like to receive, although I like beautiful sceneries or just pretty photographs of no matter what. I am really interested in all types of cultures, so things that are very characteristic for your country are always good. But, of course, all kinds of cards are welcome! :)
Oh, and what is the first thing that comes to your mind when you think of the Netherlands?
