About Ula...

Hello! =)

My name is Ula, I come from Poland and currently live in Germany =)
I'm 27 years old and love learning languages and meeting people :) I read much, my favourites are detectives (I love A. Conan-Doyle!) .I live with my friend and three bunnies - Żuczka, Hase and Gizmo - in a small city in south Germany. I study Slavic languages (Russian and Croatian/Serbian) at the University of Heidelberg and I try to learn some more on my own :)

About postcards:

I prefer cards without envelopes :)
I'd love to get a colourful view of your city or country - single views or nice multiviews are my favourites :) I love tourist cards! It would be great if you could send postcards from your own city/country, not not a random one ;)

Feel free to send me:
- anything that shows your country - I just love things like "Greetings from Taiwan" and so on ;) I love cards that say where they come from on the front side, so all city/country views are welcome! :)
- and things that are typical for your country, like... drink and food maybe? like you know - sushi or pelmeni :D
- traditional/national costumes, indigenous people

FROM RUSSIA:
I love Russian history so it would be great if you could send me a postcard showing Nicholas II (Romanow) and/or his family, Stalin, Lenin or even Putin :) But other royals or well-known persons (Gagarin, Mendelejew and so on) or figures (Cheburashka, Krokodil' Gena, Ну, погоди!) are welcomed as well of course^^
I love Russian literature as well so any well-known writer (Dostoyevskij, Pushkin, Tolstoj etc.) would make my day :)
But it's just an idea, I know not everybody has a chance to get such cards :)
**************************************************

Maybe you could write a date on it? ^^

Please write as much as you can, I'd love to know something about you! :) What do you like, what you don't, what is your favourite music, what are your hobbies - anything! Please don't send me empty postcards, or just "Happy postcrossing" - real written cards are beautiful and it makes so much fun to read what you wrote! ^^ You can write in all languages I mentioned above, I will be very happy :D

If you still don't know what to send me, just look at my favs (these are all cards I don't have). :)

---------------------------------------------------------
*** Please don't send me anything that's not a real postcard, like self made/self printed cards, photos or free/ad cards. And if it's possible - no children an no animals (except for rabbits), please. =)
*** I also don't really like cards showing art, religious cards, Xmas, Easter or Happy New Year wishes :) And I'm really afraid of insects so please don't send me such cards. Thank you! :)

Happy Postcrossing!
Ula
