About LizzCheesecake...

Hey there :)

"Why are we here?... It was all 'Let's hit the beach!' and then suddenly, we're in a library. Why?" - Doctor Who
That's something I wonder everyday. Might be because I work in a library. The Doctor is missing, though. Which makes the job a lot less fun, but it's alright.

So, uhm … hi, my name is Kerstin and I live in Niedernhausen, a town near Frankfurt a/M and Wiesbaden in Germany.
My Hobbies are climbing, painting stones and set them free (called “hiking stones”) and my two cats "Neo" and "Cosmo", reading good books and cooking marmalade like an old lady 😉

Since September 2022 I’m an original student in Cologne – studying “Bibliothek und Digitale Kommunikation” and learn how to be a “real” librarian without bun and “Pssst!” 😉

If you don`t know what to write, here are some ideas:
Tell me five things that make you smile :)
OR
Tell me a secret - I'm curious about your answers!
OR
Tell me your favorite poem ;) (Mine is "The Raven" from Edgar Allen Poe for example)
OR
I like supernatural things, so maybe you can tell me some folklore about your country?

Postcardwise I like the following motives:
- TV and Movies (ex. Doctor Who, Disney, Sherlock Holmes, Alice in wonderland, Peter Pan, Harry Potter, Mumin, Toy Story)
- Tim Burton
- Funny or meaningful quotes
- Northern Lights
- Mystical landmarks (everything that looks straight from a fairytale, bonus points for mist :))
- Lost and Dark places (like Tschernobly for example)
- Funny animals
- Black cats
- Festival cards (easter, christmas ... oh, I love Halloween!) in the proper season, please
- Birthday cards :)
- Gothic themes
- "Keep calm and..."-Cards
- Banksy
- Steampunk
- Van Gogh

I also like postcards in envelopes or handmade cards.
You can visit my favorites list to see the types of cards that make me smile :)
But I don't like tourist cards, sorry.

Happy Postcrossing!
