Hi! I'm Elisa and I'm from Cremona, a small city in northern Italy. If you've heard of it it's probabily because Antonio Stradivari, the most famous violin maker was born in Cremona.
I've spent the most part of these last three years in Verona, but going back home is always great. Verona is an amazing city to live in, it's lovely and so ancient. There are frescos on the outside walls of some buildings. After all of this time it stills amazes me every time I see them!
I am a foreign languages student, I am studying at the University of Verona where I'm about to graduate in Languages and cultures for publishing. In October I'll start a new degree in Publishing and journalism. I'd love to work in a publishing house, one day. I don't really know where life will take me, but I wouldn't mind moving to a foreign country when I'll finish studying. It would be an amazing adventure.
I speak English, Spanish and a little French (since I never practice it it's quite rusty). I love to learn new words and expressions. There's always something to discover about a language, this is what I like the most.
My greatest passions are travelling, music, concerts, books, art, tv series and cooking (especially cakes). I never have enough time to do all the things I love, but I always make the most of it every time I can. I also love cats, they are such amazing creatures. When I was 5 my parents brought me to a pet shop. I fell in love with a tiny black kitty with huge green eyes. I called him Cleo (it's usually a girl's name but I liked it anyhow, I was 5 after all) and we grew up together. We spent almost 15 years together, and we miss him very much. My favourite authors are: Carlos Ruíz Zafón, Andrea Camilleri, Anne Rice, George Martin, Charlaine Harris, Laurell K. Hamilton. My favourite bands are: Bullet For My Valentine, Papa Roach, Atreyu, Alter Bridge, Red Hot Chili Peppers. My favourite tv series are: Fringe, Roswell, Game Of Thrones, The Following, Supernatural, Sex and the City, True Blood, Homeland, Scandal and many more!
If possible, I'd love to receive postcards that show places that mean something to you. We all have favourite spots to go, that we love in a very special way. Every city is special and has lots of beautiful places yet to be discovered. Show me what's special about your city and tell me why you love it.
