About LittlePeach( Tur Ya Kar) ...

Greetings from Jasper, Hank, Sandy, Sophia, Angela, Terry, Emma, Yoyo, Emily, Jacob, Brad, Erica, Justin, Daniel, Benson, Ben, Eason, Alice, Eugene and Tico. We are students in a small town called Shulin in New Taipei City, Taiwan. Our school mascot is the cute little peach, and our school Tur Ya Kar is a very unique school accommodating students from grade 1 to grade 9.

My name is Jessica Young, one of the English teachers here at Tur Ya Kar. I have been an active postcrossing member for 2 years. I’ve found postcrossing an effective way to interact with people around the world in English. Therefore, I have asked my students to come and join the fun with me. With hope that they will be able to experience the joy of learning English.

Please do NOT send us cards with cartoons or cute illustrations....we want to learn about the world! So please send a card with a picture of something about your country or your city.

We would love to receive postcards with:
-scenery from your country
-special places or history in your country, maybe castles or forts
-UNESCO Heritage sites in your country
-unusual animals in your country
-your favorite places to go or things to do
-special foods from your country
-special celebrations or activities in your country
-maybe you have a different alphabet, or a common saying in your country or in your region

Please write one sentence in your native language and also give us the English for it. We will try to read it and say it! Also, please tell us something about yourself and what you enjoy.
