About Ralf...

postcrossing-ralf@t-online.de

Hello

my name is Ralf, I'm 56 and I live in a city called Göppingen ( approx. 55.000 inhabitants) with my wife Susanne and our dog Mira (a 9 years old shiba inu female) in a house at the outskirts of the city. Göppingen is in the south of Germany (in the center between Stuttgart and Ulm), at the border of the Swabian Alb.

We love foreign countries. This is mainly the reason that we join this site, so we could learn about others and at the same time learn a little bit about their country! We would love to expand our knowledge of the country you are from :-). It makes us extremely curious to know what will come in our Mailbox.

The favorite postcards we'd like to receive are cards with people of your city/town or country in their traditional clothes, map-cards, multiview-/singleview-postcards or vintage-postcards with the view of the place you live at (the town, the valley,a cultural motive...and so on ;-),something that connected with history and culture of your town or country.
We love ethnic and grafitti art as well, any thing with a lot of colour, ancient cultures and civilisations. We like postcards that reflect your culture, art and way of life.

But interesting and unusual other postcards are also very welcome. But please no envelopes :-).
I would like to receive a postcard written and stamped, please. It makes your card more personal and unique. I collect written/stamped postcards of every country; territory in the world.

PLEASE,PLEASE NO PHOTOS, NO AD/FREE-CARDS, NO HANDMADE CARDS, NO CHRISTMAS CARDS, NO EASTER CARDS, NO FLOWERS, NO ANIMALS ... and don't forget to date the card. If it's possible, send me the card with the name of the place written on the frontside, not on the back.

If you want to swap with me, please, inform me with a message, then I will send my address to you.

Looking forward to your postcard. Please write something about yourself, your city and something in your native language. We do not mind at all if you write something in your mother tongue instead of english and do so in the writing you are used to, be it for example chinese, cyrillic, greek or hebrew letters

Please, if possible the more stamps the better
and ... when some old postcards have left .. please send it to us (then of course, like in the envelope;-))

Have a nice day and merry postcrossing.

Thanks in advance

and my respect to the creator of this site. What a fantastic idea!

Every postcard is a window to the world.

Ralf
