I'm 41 years old, female, and I live in Southern Finland in the countryside.
I've been collecting postcards since... well, pretty much my whole life. I like all kinds, but my faves are different views, animals (esp.tigers, other big cats, penguins, elephants,...) and anything on Disney's. And lately I've been hoarding birds, esp. swans (our national bird), so if you have national, regional or state birds or otherwise nice birdcards, I'd appreciate to have one. :-)
I also like reading, penpalling (snail mail and chatty, long letters!), films, music, nature, long walks, my husband and our pets: we have a dog and two cats.

I used to study a lot of languages, but now they're all getting rusty. Still, I like foreign languages a lot and who ever you are sending me a card, don't hesitate to use your language if it's on my list. I also understand some (written) Portuguese, Danish, Norwegian and Estonian, so please feel free to write in these languages as well...
Recently I've noticed people just write in English, that's a bit boring since I really understand other languages too, so please, please, check my language list, and if your mother tongue is one of the languages I know, please use it! Or if you just happen to be fluent in any of those languages... I might understand some written German and Dutch too, and if I don't, I'm good at trying to find out what you've written. :-)
25th May 2015: I was extremely happy to receive a card from Estonia, written in Estonian, that really saved my day! :-)

Please write your username on the card, so I can contact you directly, if the ID is incorrect, missing or otherwise unreadable... Thank you! :-) I usually register the cards the same day they arrive, so if it's taking too long, I probably didn't get it or there's a problem with the ID... Send me a message then!
