I changed jobs recently, from being a security supervisor i decided to go and work with mentally disabled people.
It´s a tough job, but very satisfying.
I live together in a small village near the city of Hoorn with my boyfriend and two cats.
One of the cats is a British shorthair and the other one is a crossbreed, but just as sweet.
My sports are fitness, shooting and hiking, but i like to go swimming or cycling as well.
I like reading books about other countries and cultures, but detectives and biography´s are also favorite.
I like to cook, mostly Asian and Mediterranian food.
The music i like to listen to is reggae and worldmusic, but i also like listening to HipHop and rapmusic.
As a hobby,i collect Buddha statues, but i´m pretty selective about the ones to get. No cheap looking plastic Buddha will enter my house.
I like to recieve postcards of any kind, it´s the stamps i´m after.
I´m collecting them to make some sort of picture later on.
I joined postcrossing because i like to learn about other countries and their inhabitants.
I´m not so well travelled.
Been to Belgium, Britain, Turkey and Germany and lived in Switzerland for almost four years..then i got homesick and moved back to my homecountry where i still have to go to many places i haven´t seen yet..
