Licsen

I was born in 1984 and grew up on the island of Funen in Denmark. I'm currently studying political science at Aarhus University and expect to get my masters degree in the summer of 2013. I live in Aarhus with my boyfriend, our son Lauritz (born in May 2011) and our cat, Ingolf.

In 2004-2005 I was an au pair in Minnesota, USA (I have also been to New York, Massachusetts, Florida and San Francisco). Other than that I have traveled to most of Western Europe, Thailand, Malaysia, India and Tunisia.

I really like the idea of the postcrossing project as I love to send and receive postcards and I look forward to receiving all kinds of postcards from you!

When it comes to the pictures in the postcards I especially like old-fashioned cards, art cards (especially photo art), cards with fun/strange pictures or sayings, etc. I also love Walt Disney characters and other cartoons. I am not very fond of city views or very touristy cards but any card you send will be appreciated. If you're having trouble picking out a card for me you can take a look at my favorites.

I would also love to know a little about the person who writes to me. Name, country, occupation, age, hobbies, anything like that. Or maybe just some fun info about your city, country etc. If there is any text written on the picture side of the postcard please translate it for me if it's not in Danish or English.
