About Alexandra...

Hi, I am Alexandra, living near Rotterdam in the Netherlands.I work as a business travel agent and there are so many things I love in life, such as Project Life, photographing, cooking, illustrating and basically creating lovely things whatever that will be ;-)

I like to go on a ride with my bike, just where it will take me, I love to see a good movie (love Star Trek, Star Wars, Harry Potter and a lot more), I do (and teach) Tai Chi Tao and Qi Gong and lately started with Poweryoga which gives me lots of energy and I also love reading a good book (fantasy, historical, romans). Oh, and did I tell you that I am more or like a little bit addicted to Instagram?

What I love about Postcrossing is to find an almost perfect card for the reciever and everyday I watch for new postcards in my mailbox and reading the stories of the senders written on the backside of these cards.

I have a couple of preferences if you would like to send me something that I would really love to receive:

* Art Cards
I like the Impressionists: Monet, Degas,Cézanne etc. but also Kandinsky, Mondriaan, Rothko, Turner, van Gogh.

* Animal cards
I like whales, dolphins, pinquins, manta-rays, giraffes, owls and all kind of cute little animals

* illustrated cards
I like French illustrators such as Gaelle Boissonard, Marie Cardouat and Marie-Ann Foucart or send me one of your favorite illustrator

* Never get tired of watching beautiful landscapes, mountain views of places where I have never been before and the world is huge ;-)

* Black & white cards, sepia or vintage cards

* cards of your country, your state or with the flag are also welcome

The only thing I don´t like is free add cards :-(

Would love to know who you are, where you live, what you do, your favorite book, your favorite movie, your favorite meal, what your goal in life is or what your dreams are and don´t forget to write your name on the card :-)

You may write in your own language, with a little translation please ;-) One of my goals for the coming months is to learn Italian as I already am familiar with German, French and a little Spanish.

Enjoy your day,your summer, your winter, your weekend or whatever you are doing right now and happy postcrossing!!!
