About Laura...

I work as an editor in a publishing house. It's a job I've always wanted to try!

A few years ago I spent 2,5 years travelling and working as an au pair. I was in England (love it), Norway and Spain. It was an amazing experience.

I spend most of my free time playing board games, hanging out with friends, travelling, reading or watching movies.

I collect Barbies. Lately I also started with some Rainbow High dolls! I have about 150 dolls in my flat.

I love dragons (especially Toothless), unicorns, droids (especially BB-8), pokemons (especially Bulbasaur, Mudkip and Jigglypuff), books, English sense of humour, Disney, Pixar, DreamWorks, fairy tales, views of galaxy, Audrey Hepburn, Audrey Horne, detective stories (especially Agatha Christie), Hermione and professor McGonagall, musicals, knowing another cultures, new countries and traditions, women's red hair, Moomins, Krtek, nerdy things, girl/minorities power (I really like postcard series Women in science), octopuses, sea horses and every sweet and fluffy creatures... and many many other things ;).

My favourites colours are blue, purple and pink (and rainbow :D). In art I prefer pre raphaelites, impressionism, post-impressionism (my favourite paintings are Starry night and Almond blossoms) and art noveau. If we talk about current artists, I like for example Jasmine Beckett-Griffith, Karen Hallion, Abigail Larson, Rihards Donskis, Brian Kesinger, Inga Paltser, Irina Zeniuk, Victoria Kirdyi or Liz Climo.

I love almost every kind of literature (but my favourite books are Gone with the Wind, Les Miserables, Orphan's Tales, East of Eden and Terry Pratchett's books) and history (I'm not a big fan of battles and dates - I'm just interested in life of people).

My favourites heart warming movies are Pride, Stardust, How to train your dragon and About time.

Hope now you know me a little!

About postcards - please, write a date (and something more than "happy postcrossing"). If you are from the USA, please, put the name of your state as well. I like postcards with my favourite things the most, but I'll be glad about everything nice, chosen for me (except I don't really like ad cards). You can check my favourites, if you need more inspiration (not all of it is received by me). I always enjoy stickers, washi tapes, pretty stamps etc. too.

Best regards and happy postcrossing!
