Hello all,

My name is Leila. I live in Finland.

My hobbies are gardening, hiking, waching TV series and films, reading and knitting. I like to photograph nature and flowers. I also like travelling. There are a lot of beautiful destinations in Finland, the land of a thousand lakes, but Lapland is the best. Madeira is my favorite destination If I travel abroad.

I have been married to my spouse Markku for over 40 years. We have a son named Mikko (1984). Today, we are also proud grandparents, our son and his spouse had twins, a girl and a boy, last November. ❤️💙

We live in a detached house in the countryside in a small rural village called Kärkölä. Our home village has about 5000 inhabitants.

Our home is located in southern Finland.
The population of Finland is about 5,5 million.

There are four seasons in Finland. In wintertime, it is often frosty and the ground is covered with snow, at least two or three months.
Winter, spring and autumn are beautiful in their own way, but my favorite time of year is absolutely summer. I like warm weather, green nature and colourful flowers. Summer in Finland is nice, not too hot.

I'm waiting for postcards from all over the world.
Landscape postcards would be nice, but it's up to you, I'm happy for every card which I will receive. :)
