Hello everyone,
my name is Jan, and I live in Karlsruhe, Germany. I just recently discovered postcrossing and I love the idea of exchanging thoughts, ideas, memories, stories with people around the world. It is a wonderful opportunity to stress the fact that communicating and interacting with each other is what it needs to cross bridges - physically or metaphorically.
I just love receiving postcards - if they show the places of your residence, something that you consider remarkable or interesting then that's perfect. I am not so much into postcards with cats, dogs, horses, ducks or any other animal - though I have two cats.
I am a professional musician, at the moment in the process of becoming a high school teacher. I enjoy music, reading, gardening, travelling, museums, theater, movies, exhibitions and good food.
So, just give it a try and write something that you want to see mentioned.
Any of the languages mentioned is good for me though I am most proficient in English and German.
