Hi! My name is Elena. I am 20 y.o. girl who loves kind people. I study languages at the university and Postcrossing is a splendid opportunity for me to practice my languages. It would be great if you sent me a letter about yourself and your interests (English prefer, but if you do it in German it’ll be cool! ;)) I think it is very interesting to know about people, their cultures and traditions. It makes our world picture bright and rich and we become kinder inside. As for my hobbies they are not so numerous. I like reading. Prefer fantasy, but sometimes I read short novels, of course, with happy and! :) I like walking on our main town alley, especially in autumn when the air is fresh and cool and the yellow leaves shining in sunlight rustle underfoot. Have you ever walk in the rein? It is so romantic… You walk alone 'cause many people prefer to stay at home when it’s raining. And you feel that this world is only for you. It makes you lyrical and sentimental. I feel the same when look at the old black-and-white pictures. They are like the letters from the past. I also like black-and-white films. They are so funny! Besides I like painting (not only looking at but also trying to do me best) and different exhibitions. By the way, this photo is from one of them which was called “Giants of Ice Age”. Next to me is the sabre-toothed tiger but my friend say it looks like a bear :)
This year I haven’t a lot of time for my hobbies and interests, 'cause I am graduating student and must work hard. But your cards will be nice little support for me.
P.S. I would like to know some new words on your natural language (slang will be great) :)
