I am 30 years old and have a degree in German language. (I can even speak Medieval Dutch and German, and am planning to learn medieval English as well).

I am interested in rather various topics such as linguistics, history, airplanes (both civil and military), ships, books, movies and digital photography. Also: football!! (soccer, for Americans).

If possible, I would like to receive cards with famous persons or buildings, airplanes or nice skylines. But cards with pictures of Mother Nature are also very welcome. In fact, any card is more than welcome :-)

For Postcrossers from South Africa, I have a request! If you happen to speak Afrikaans, please write your card in Afrikaans!! Ik kan dat wel lezen en begrijpen. :-)

For postcrossers from Asia, Kaukasus, North-Afrika or Middle-East: please write something in your language, I just love the different letters and (Chinese/Japanese) characters from all over the world!

I have a lovely cat, his name is Rex. My girlfriend has two cats as well, their names are Rexy (which is purely coincidence) and Yoda.

I live in Gouda, the relatively small town world famous for its cheese. You should really try it once!
