Dear Postcrossers all over the world!

Hi, I'm Gina from Germany, 62 years old, married, with one daughter, age 22.

That's me in a nutshell: Christian, nature and animal lover, fruit eating and knitting junkie, reader, writer, thinker. My favorite colors are all shades of brown and generally the whole autumn spectrum, and my favorite season is - who would have guessed it? - autumn. I love to be creative and to be surrounded by beautiful things. I don't like shallow, superficial talk and big cities. In my heart I'm a country girl. Fortunately I live in a small rural area.

I love the idea to get a glimpse into the life of many precious people of every age and walk of life that I otherwise would not even know exist.

I'm interested in people themselves much more than I'm in the places they live. I'm into this to sow joy, one card at a time. So I would really appreciate if you write something personal about yourself. Your passion, your relationship with your pet, your sorrow or your joy, your greatest talent, your greatest lesson from life or whatever else comes to your mind along these lines.

Please send REAL postcards. The following list is just to give you an idea about what I really like:

* ANIMALS...especially mammals, my "Top Ten" are giraffe, cat, bear, camel, wombat, cow, hippo, elephant, weasel (and all similar looking species), koala. Please NO horses, snakes, spiders.
* Fauna of Belarus
* Crocus
* Paintings of Leonid Afremov and Irina Garmashova or similar style
* Portraits of black people (I love black people, to me they are beauty personified)
* Native Americans
* People with Dreadlocks, French braid or other special hairdo
* Snails or mushrooms
* Fruit, vegetables, spices and herbs
* Beautiful trees
* Cute animal cartoons like those in my favorites, but please NO Disney, Hello Kitty etc.
* Maps
* Cards displaying lots of colours
* Birthday cards in November

I really DON'T LIKE typical tourist postcards, buildings, vehicles, Halloween or Christmas cards, "Keep calm" or similar cards with text only, "unnatural" animal photos (dog with glasses etc.), Mystical (dragons, elves, angels, esoteric themes) and erotic themes.

My wall of favorites includes ONLY cards I have NOT received yet but would love to add to my collection. If you have one of these or similar ones - please don't hesitate to pick it for me. You will definitly strike home and make my day ;-)

So I'm looking forward to finding YOUR postcard in my mailbox!

Please note: I register 98% of all cards on the very day I get them, the other 2% within the next two days. If I didn't register your card within a reasonable time frame, I either haven't received it or the ID is missing and cannot be found by the system. Please contact me in this case.
