Hi everyone,

I'm Viola, 29 and from Kassel, in the middle of Germany. Close by, in Hofgeismar, I teach English and Spanish at a Highschool. My passion for teaching, travelling and getting to know different cultures encouraged me to participate with my 8th grade (14-15 years old) English class in postcrossing. I love different languages and meeting people with different cultural background and I want my students also to have enriching experiences with people from all over the world, even without travelling, so that they can see what beauty and diversity this world offers. I see it as a great chance for them to learn about different places, language and views in the world and to practice their English at the same time.

All of the above means that your card will go to my students. They will love hearing anything about your everyday life, your hobbies and interests, typical food, famous stars, music, things to see where you are from, your language, your school system,.... But really, feel free to write about whatever you think might be interesting to them.

We are looking forward to having a diverse collection of postcards at the end of the schoolyear.

As it is part of the English class, I would really appreciate you writing in English :-)
