Hello!

First, we want to say thank you so much for sending us a postcard! We are a combined class of Grade 1, 2, and 3. We live in Edmonton, Alberta on Treaty 6 Territory. We are learning about postcards, mail, and countries from around the world! You can call us "Room 1224", that is our room number.

Will you please help us learn about our world by sharing about your country, community, and culture? Maybe even share what languages are spoken where you live? Maybe even teach us a phrase? Some ideas for postcards are:
- Food
- Nature
- How you play outside
- Animals that live in your country
- Landmarks (architecture, etc.)
- Geographical regions and lands (mountains, ocean, rivers, desert, etc.)
- Clothes and fashion
- Weather (Here it gets very cold! -40 degrees Celsius cold!)
- Fun facts
- Cool stamps!
- Postallove Greetings

To help us with reading your postcard sooner, could you please mail the postcard in an envelope. Then it may come out of our classroom's "quarantine" bin quicker. It is the bin where items wait 72 hours before coming into the room. It helps keep us safe. Also, please remember that we are young!
