About Kristina...

Hi all. I’m Kristina, a Belarusian girl who followed her heart and now calls Denmark home❤️

Back in 2014, while still in Belarus, I had put my postcrossing adventures on hold. I’ve always had a soft spot for written letters and postcards. However, with fewer of them arriving from my friends and family, I’ve decided to make a comeback to my postcrossing journey from my new home in Denmark 💌

I live in a relatively small town right in the heart of Denmark. This location makes exploring the country a lot easier. The North Sea coast is practically around the corner, H.C. Andersen’s historic home is just a two-hour drive away, and the excitement of Legoland is nothing but 40-minute journey 🇩🇰

My biggest hobbies are yoga and photography – I proudly consider myself an ambitious amateur in both. When winter arrives, you’ll find me in the mountains, skiing with sheer joy. There’s something truly magical about those snowy peaks - I find myself at my happiest in the mountains. And speaking of art, during chilly days, I indulge in the soothing process of painting by numbers. I may not be a professional artist, but the tranquility it brings me makes me believe I must have been one in a past life 😁

In another life chapter, I was a professional ballroom dancer, and the love for dance continues to live in my heart. That’s probably where my passion for music started too. My playlist spans from British classics like The Beatles and Queen to the spirited Italian rock of Måneskin (yes, I’m a huge Eurovision fan)✨

I have a fascination for the world’s diversity, and making connections with people near and far brings me joy. Learning about intriguing cultural quirks and the silent rules of different societies is like unwrapping a mystery every time. If you’d like, share a piece of your culture on a postcard – I’m genuinely excited to read it ☺️
