Hello, my name is Kornelia! I live in a small village near Bad Münstereifel! The landscape in which I live is called "Eifel"! I've been retired since 2013 and now enjoy my free time. I like reading Swedish thrillers, I like to go hiking and another passion of mine is astronomy.
I would be very happy to receive postcards with planets, comets or the starry sky, but postcards from your country or city are also welcome.
I'm happy about every card. I have been taking a lot of photos for a year and I also send some photos as postcards. If you also have photos you would like to send, I look forward to them.
Please don't just write Happy Postcrossing, I'm just as interested in the back as the front of a postcard. Your interests, your life, your work, your travels, your favorite food, everything interests me. You can also ask me questions.
I love the November/December/January seasonal postcards and the November birthday cards.
The last few years have been difficult for all of us, my brother became seriously ill with Covid and a good friend died from it.
Thinking of everyone who has contracted Covid or has family members/friends who have contracted or even died from it
On July 14th there was a terrible flood disaster here in the Eifel, the beautiful old town of Bad Münstereifel was destroyed. But many other places in the area were also destroyed. The support we have received is indescribable, not only in money but also in help and moral support. And now a war is raging in Europe. I don't understand how people can hurt each other so much. I hope that one day we will have everything the way it used to be. I don't like postcards from Postcrossing meetings that just have names on them.
