Hi there. I am Alex, an Englishman living in The Netherlands.
I enjoy my life with Anne Mieke and our five children, Boaz, Lulu, Isolde, Justine and Stuart.
I have my own (family) business and have lived in Holland for a little more than twenty years.

My interests are books, sculpture, photography, tennis, politics and history.

I love travelling and have enjoyed the East in particular, India, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Malaysia and Brunei. When I was young I lived in Lagos, Nigeria. I studied in England and still have a large family there.

The world is becoming smaller I have been led to understand, yet the distances between people seem to become greater. Postcrossing seems to me a fantastic way to counter this. It is still possible to meet someone unexpectedly and to wish them well - sincerely - before returning to our own sometimes cluttered, invariably busy and I would expect different worlds!
