Hey there!

My name is Jan and I live somewhere in the middle of Luxembourg, even though I originally come from the Czech Republic.

I like languages, learning French and German at the moment. It fascinates me how we think or even behave differently in different languages.

I love traveling. I used to travel more for both business and leisure. But these days I travel far less. To date, I visited 41 countries, mostly in Europe, but a few in Africa and Asia. I like to taste interesting food on my travels.

I like being in the nature in general, walking in a forest, admiring scenery, or just going to a zoo with kids. I am a bit pessimistic about how mankind treats this planet, and I try to do my small bit when possible to protect the environment.

I read books and sometimes magazines about cars, motorbikes, bicycles or other stuff.

All sorts of postcards are welcome. What you think is a good postcard to be sent, makes my day when I open the mailbox (having said that, nature, tourist, or historical postcards would match my taste 100% :-)
