About Kirsten...

Hey everyone!

👩🏽‍⚕️🇳🇱 My Name is Kirsten. I'm a 26 year old girl from the Netherlands.
My hobby's are watching movies/series, reading books (fantasy, thrillers, childrensbooks) and volleyball. I'm a pediatric nurse and I work at the childrens ward of a hospital. But at the moment I am changing my career and I am studying to become a primary school teacher, but I´m still working at the hospital every now and then. I live with my boyfriend and our cats Charlie and Pip. We live in the Northern part of the Netherlands.

I love getting postcards in my mailbox! I keep the cards in a slip-in album, where I can look at them and re-read them every once in a while! The pages are see-through so when I flip the page I can read the back of the cards :)

📮 I like cards with (random order) :
- Single view (tourist) cards
- Illustrated cards
- Seasonal/Holiday cards (for example: Christmas, Halloween, Mardi Gras etc..)
- Illustrations of fairy tales or other tales/stories
- Witches
- Loupaper cards
- About medieval
- Inge Löök's old ladies (already have: 7, 8, 11, 17, 18, 36, 42, 53, 69, 70)
- Katja Saario
- Pettson
- Beautifull nature/landscapes
- About (primary) education or medical/nursing
- Illustrated tourist cards (especially the ones from american states)
- Lantern press
- Aleksandr Maskaev
- Harry Potter (but not from the 100 postcards box, I already have these 😊)
- Picture/drawing/painting of beautiful scenery/landscape
- Castles/mountains/rivers/trees/forests, cute villages
- History/culture
- Black and white photo's
- Lord of the rings
- Fantasy illustrations

Or take a look at my favourites for inspiration! (These are cards that want to recieve and also cards that I have recieved)

But feel free to send me any card you want 😊

PLEASE write neatly, I find it hard to read cursive or "old fashioned" handwritings :)

✏ If you don't know what to write: I like it when you tell me something about you or where you live, about what's on the front of the card (if it is a tourist card), which book you are reading, some funny facts about you or you can tell me what you did that day or what you are going to do later. If you want to, you can decorate the back of the card. I like that!

I also appreciate beautiful stamps :)

📆 I like it when you write down the date and temperature on the card
