Hi!

My name is Kim and I'm a student from The Netherlands. I just finished my bachelor Pedagogische wetenschappen (which would translate into something like: child, family and education studies).
Right now I have a gap year. So far I'm traveling to Warsaw (Poland), Sala (Sweden) and I will be going to Norway to see the northern lights. If you have any suggestions for me on what to do in my gap year, please tell me :)

I like taking walks, eating and hanging out with friends, doing creative things, doing new things, visiting museums, escape rooms. Furthermore I enjoy reading English books. I am currently trying to read a lot of classics, so far I've read: 1984, wutherhing heights, animal farm, to kill a mockingbird, the catcher in the rye, the great gatsby, Alice's adventures in wonderland, pride and prejudice... and many more are on my reading list. Tell me about your favorite books and books you would recommend to me!
If you send me a postcard, maybe you could tell me something about your country of the city you live in. An interesting fact or myth :)

For my gap year I am looking for travel destinations, so if you have suggestions please tell me!! :)
I'm looking for places that are: interesting (museums, old buildings, or natural phenomena), beautiful sceneries, cheap, reachable without a car, ...
I'm also looking for a beautiful train journey (maybe through Scandinavia in summer or Eastern Europe), but unfortunately those can be quite expensive as well :(
Are you going somewhere (or do you wanna go somewhere) between October 2018 and August 2019, let me know! I might be looking for travel buddies. I don't really like drinking and partying vacations, but I like beach vacations and active vacations (walking, bicycle riding, etc.) and city trips! You can read some of my interests above and see if you'd like to be my travel buddy :)
If you want to visit Amsterdam/Edam let me know! Maybe I can give you recommendations. I'm currently still living with my parents so I'll probably won't be able to give you a place to stay but I hope to move into a student room in Amsterdam in the summer of 2019!
