Hello Postcrossing family,

it's me, Horst. Currently I am 61 years old, from southern Germany (Bavaria, Frankonia).

Now 3000+ cards landed in my postbox till today :-) - and I will still go on. It is so much fun to come home and find a card in the postbox and always a surprise about the motive and the land it was sendet from.

My hobbies (maybe you have the same... exchange some experiences with me):
- Philately - collecting stamps (Germany in special Deutsches Reich Infla up to 1923)
Europe before 1945, Australia, French collonies, France
- Postcards - what else ....
and and and and....
... and my work in sales department for electrical equipment.

My favourite card I prefer to receive:

- Card from your home city / area
- Wild animals
- Stamps and all around stamps on cards
- Special art
- Pin Up cards
- Old tractor vehicles, cars, trucks etc.
- Cards showing "old electric apparatuses" like contactors, switches etc.
- Stan Laurel & Oliver Hardy
- Cinema legends (movies, actors... all around)
- Route 66 (from US or any other member)
- John Wayne - The Duke

New idea for cards I would like in future (after I get the first one):
Blue cats (the Russian series).

Please dont sent AD-cards (advertising)... please use real postcards.

Update 2022/01/12:
More and more Postcrossers dont use "real stamps" on their cards - please... for me as philatelist it is important to have card with a real stamp (or real stamps) on it, not with any internet printed codes. Thank you!
