I'm a writer by profession yet parking the grind, I genuinely love the magic of words and pictures. Aside from scribbling my thoughts away, I also like taking photographs of people, but writing letters give me utmost joy. Sharing a glimpse of someone's life and world never fails to amaze me.

Which probably explains why the concept of postcards have always fascinated me. Ever since I was small, I have loved receiving and sending them. Only in the past decade have I rediscovered the habit of it as I unearthed postcards from my past.

I even made a "keen postino" album which features postcards from family and friends. "In this cyberage, nothing beats being mesmerized by a captured moment made sweeter with words of one's brief tale of discovering life, love and happiness. the postcard that i receive never fails to uplift me the very minute i get it. i get giddy all over. really. i smile at the thought that some morsel of magic sweeps me away and takes me to the very place plastered on that hard paper. oh yes, an imagined escape. a welcome getaway of my spirit to be free for the meantime."

if you happen to send me a postcard, i wouldn't mind getting whatever fancies you. A snapshot of your home, a landmark of your country, a picture of what makes you happy, or even a handmade one. So long as that is what you feel for that moment. But like any postcard, i hope it's not too much to ask if you scribble a little note of what you feel and what is around you as you write on that precious card. you can also teach me a word (from your language).
