How are you? What are you dreaming about right now?

As for me, I have two types of dreams: the short-term and the long-term ones. The latter is, for example, having a little cozy flat somewhere in Istanbul, with enormous windows directed to the West and affording a great view to the Bosphorus. Since I still don't know what to do to make it real, my short-term day-dreams are really casual: to finish my work for a week successfully, to have a cup of really good coffee with my friends (or even to mull wine for them), to go to the cinema sometimes... Really casual. :) So, what about you? It's really interesting for me to know!

If you wonder what postcard to choose, some ideas for you are listed here. Actually, it goes without saying, everything will be welcome, everything will be saved, but postcards of these types would make me really, really happy:

- rain, rainy day, umbrellas. I like rain, perhaps, as an image much more than a real one
- old stones, old scriptures
- I'm particularly interested in different kinds of art and ornaments (not clothes). Beautiful mosques, islamic art patterns will be higly appreciated. Aboriginal and any kind of ethnic art is perfect!
- New Year PostCards of your country (if they could be sent without an envelope) - even in July.
- Doctor Who. I'm not a whovian. Probably. Maybe... Mmmm...

A bit of really personal unnecessary information for the curious ones

The parrot IS NOT mine. %) My avatar photo was taken last winter at the Via Dolorosa in the Old City of Jerusalem. The parrot's name was 'Antar, he was 8 months old then, and he had his own chair at the coffee-maker's store. I was feeding 'Antar for a long time, probably, for a half an hour, however, he tried to taste my coat. :)

to be honest, i'm a Big Bang Theory fan. and this, it's not about the scientific one. though it's gorgeous. :) moreover, I've fallen in love with the 10th Doctor, because we like the same type of shoes.

Since december'12, last places visited in chronological order were
Istanbul,
Jerusalem,
St. Petersburg,
Odessa,
Kyiv (and an archeological dig in Ukraine, Chernihiv region for a couple of weeks),
Zakynthos (Agios Sostis, Laganas) and Kefalonia (Argostoli).
