Hi all, I'm Katharine. I live in Grodno, a city in the west of Belarus. This year I entered the university in my hometown and now I am studying to be a software developer. I like drawing, although I'm not really good at it. I like listening to music. My favourite music band is Imagine Dragons. In my free time I like reading books. My favourite genre is fantasy. I dream that someday I'll have a big bookcase with a pile of my favourite books and books I have yet to read. I love delicious food, especially sour and sweet marmalade. I periodically re-watch Gravity Falls. It's my favourite cartoon ever. I don't think I ever get bored with it.
I especially like illustrated cards with pictures rather than photographs. I'm most interested in them:
- Large antique sailing ships
- Castles (don't necessarily exist)
- Girls
- Mills
- Gravity Falls (well, maybe they do exist)
- Postcards with a fantasy theme (elves, fairies, or whatever)
- Halloween cards with witches (not necessarily fall, I'd be happy to get one any time of year)
- Мysterious cottages in the forest
- Typewriters
- Lavender
- Dark fantasy
- Recipe Postcards
- Mermaid
- Corgi
- I don't mind handmade cards
But remember, I would be happy to receive any card from you. What's important to me in postcrossing is the emotion when I open my mailbox and see that there's something there. Or read the text on the postcard. So you can write me something about yourself or absolutely anything you want. For example, you can talk about the meaning of your name.
