Hello everybody!

My name is Karin, i'm 57 years young and i like postcrossing cause i saw my daughter doing it. She and my son are the love'd ones of my life and i like my son's girlfriend also very much.

I live in The Netherlands but my dream is living at Lanzarote, for me THE place to be. Just a small house would be enough so that i could start writing a book, that is what i already said wen i was a little girl: i will write a book and it will be a bestseller. Pretty arrogant isn't it?? I write poems and lyrics, i like that and people who read them like it too but a book is my goal.

My interests:

- reading [a lot!!!!].
- contact with people all over the world, learning about there way of living, there thoughts and feelings so pleace don't hesitate to write such things on your postcard.
- the paranormal world. my zodiac is fish [february]
- medical world, regular and even more: alternative medicine.
- playing cards but unfortunately there are not many people who do this these days. They like more tv or pc, things with little personal contact. Pity....
- collecting stamps and cigarbands
- at this moment in my life i have the intention to explore if painting suits me, it's also a way to express feelings and i need that, do you recognize this?

I have a new hobby: geocaching and geospy, it's a nice way to look at things and places and to SEE them. A consciously look and besides that i go out more than before, it's a challenge to get beautifull pictures from notable buildings/artworks etc.

My expectations:

- getting postcards from all over the world
- written with a personal touch, a drawning is also ok.
- in your own language but with an english translation
- please mark the date that you post it, that gives an impression of the distance, posting till arrival, that's my news avarice <smile>.
- it would be nice if the stamp says something about your land/hometown.

I love it if i learn to know you a little bit by having this contact.
