Hey there! :)

I'm Stephan, a 28 years old german fellow. I studied German studies and history in Trier, which is supposed to be the oldest city in Germany and known for being the native town of Karl Marx (you can find it on the map somewhat further south). I grew up in Andernach where Charles Bukowski was born. At present I'm living in Cologne but I might be moving again shortly to take up further studies.

I spend a lot of time with shooting and developing photographic b&w- and colourfilms. Otherwise I try to keep fit by jogging and cycling and I love to read, cook and travel. Since I've done a roundtrip through Israel, Palestine and Jordan in 2013 I'm pretty much into cultures and politics in the Middle East.

Due to my hobbies and particularly my photographic passion I am especially interested in postcards matching the following subjects: act, architecture, b&w-photography, cultural heritage, famous photographers, people-photography, street-art etc. pp. Cycling, your favorite paintings, local food & spices might just as well inspire you to find a nice postcard.

Btw: I like Star Wars. My favorite character is C-3PO, but any Original-Trilogy related card would make me start cheering.

This goes out to all chinese postcrossers (in particular): As I used to play tabletennis in my hometown club when I was in high school I'd also like to receive cards/stamps bound with this fabolous sport.

Don't worry if you've just read the above and got no idea for a special card yet. I'll be excited about every postcard you might think of and I regard all received (and sent!) cards as a personal gift. You've got a reason to pick a particular card? Please let me know your thoughts.
