About Brigitte...

My name is Brigitte.
I am a teacher for mathematics. I live in the center of Germany in a small town called Enger. In fact, I'm a lazy writer, but a short postcard is ok.

As I love the Italian language, please write in Italian, if you are a native Italian!

My main hobby is Square Dancing, but the modern way. I do not like country music or western dresses. So it is fine, that here in Germany we are dancing to modern pop songs. Especially I like it hot hash, i.e. quick steps. Some years ago there was my favourite music, techno. As we are dancing on a level, that is hard to find, my husband and I are often on the road to southern Germany, where there are more SD-groups and so enough people to get a square on high level.

First of all I love to get very kitschy Christmas or Easter postcards, no matter which time of year it is. Any other cards as kitschy as possible are also very welcome!

I'd also like to see landscapes of your region or pictures of your town, because I like nature and am interested to see, where the writers live. But I don't like cards with architectural details.

You may also send me any nature postcard or card showing wild flowers, especially red poppies.

My favourite cartoonists are Uli Stein and Ralph Ruthe, my favourite comedians are Dieter Nuhr and Carolin Kebekus. I'd appreciate cards with their cartoons or photoes or any other funny cards.

If you don't have a card of these favourite suggestions, don't worry. Except architecture everything is welcome.

And PLEASE, don't send me oversized postcards and don't send me cards in envelopes!

By the way, I don't mind, if you write just "Happy postcrossing" or "Warm greetings". Most interesting for me is, which card you chose for me.
