About Brigitte...

My name is Brigitte.
I am a retired teacher (since summer 2020) for mathematics. I live in the northern middle of Germany in a small town called Enger near Bielefeld. In fact, I'm a lazy writer, but a short postcard is ok.

My main hobby is Square Dancing, but the modern way. As we are dancing on a level, that is hard to find, my husband and I are often on the road to southern Germany, where there are more SD-groups and so enough people to get a square on high level.

Here are my favourites:

First of all I love to get very kitschy Christmas or Easter postcards, no matter which time of year it is. Any other cards as kitschy as possible are also very welcome!

If you have, you may send a card, that is NOT from the place or country, you live in, but where you have been for holidays or working. I find it interesting to see, where people from different parts of the world go.

I also like nature postcards (no insects, please),
touristik cards with lots of small fotos, but please no architcture,
cartoons by Uli Stein and Ralph Ruthe,
funny cards,
the art of Otto Waalkes,
Tausendschön.

If you don't have a card of these favourite suggestions, don't worry. Except architecture or insects everything is welcome.

PLEASE, don't send me maxicards! They are wasted on me. They are often beautiful, but I don't collect them. Please send maxicards to everyone, who will appreciate them.

By the way, I don't mind, if you write just "Happy postcrossing" or "Warm greetings". Most interesting for me is, which card you chose for me.

Thank you for reading my profile!
