Hello Postcrosser!

I'm Carolien and I'm 54 years old. I work for the Dutch government in the field of watermanagement (fish migration at this moment).

I like cooking, gardening, reading, drawing and making jewellery (strings with used buttons). And travelling to distant places. And visiting flee markets and second hand shops.

I've got a very nice house with a garden. In the garden I've got fruit trees (apple, plum, cherry, pear, figs), strawberries and flowers. From the fruit I make jam, sauces and chutneys.

I have a cat, Muppie. She comes from a cat's home. Don't understand why someone left her there. She is always happy when I am around (and I'm too). She knows exactly what she wants (mostly FOOD). She left me a living mouse in the kitchen when it was my birthday this year!

I would be happy if you send me a card from your city or country. Or a card with modern art from your country. Or a cartoon. Or fish. Or..
