Hi there dear friend - I am new to postcrossing but I love the idea as I love to travel throughout the globe. I am a recently retired primary school teacher with 2 adult children. One studying to be a doctor; the other an electrical engineer. My husband, also retired, was a technical communications engineer.

My preferred postcards would be pictures of places and/or interesting sights in your area or place you visit. Please tell me about the picture. I love to learn new things and meet new people all the time.

My family lives in Cairns; a northerly city in Australia. It is famous for the Great Barrier Reef and the rainforest close by. we have tropical weather conditions - that is hot and often wet with high humidity.

My husband and I enjoy bushwalking, tending to our home and reading.
