My name is João Pedro Baptista and I am from the beautiful and old city of Lisboa, the capital of Portugal.

In my free time, I like to read, listening to classical music, swimming. I also like to play chess!
I love to travel and get to know other countries and other people. I love hiking in nature.
I enjoy cultural activities: going to classical music concerts, opera, theater, cinema, museums.

I look forward to hearing a little bit about you, the place you are from, your culture, what do you like to do, what are you reading. Have you ever been to Portugal? Tell me about it.

I will love any postcards that come my way, but I have some preferences!

I enjoy tourist postcards with:
beautiful landscape and cities,
places of interest and historic sites,
monuments,
churches,
castles,
trains,
trams,
Pictures from your village, town, country.
I also like very much cards with paintings from museums;
and Art Nouveau, Jugendstil.
Old photos of your city are very welcome.
I love German Chronikkarten.

If you look at my favorites you'll see some postcards I don't have yet, but I'd love to receive!

Not so fond of postcards with animals, flowers, cookies, funcards, selfmade, children, comics, religious. No problem with it, just not my favourite postcards.

Please, send only postcards from the country of the ID, unless you are on travel mode.

And please: it would be very appreciated if you could write the DATE on the postcard :-) Thank you!

I would like very much if you use only stamps, not post office strips. The best are special, unusual ones! I am not a collector, but I like them very much.

I prefer postcard with stamps and not envelope. But if, for some reason, you choose to send the card in an envelope, I would still like it written on.

If you cannot understand my handwriting, please let me know. I will send you by private message the text written on the postcard, as I keep record of all messages I send.
