Hi!

I'm a tax law student at Leiden University. Boring, right? Fortunately, my day to day life is way more exciting. At least, I like to think so.

In the first place I try to surround myself with as much animals as I can. I love animals! We, me and my boyfriend, have two adorable bunnies, Karel and Kato, and two cats, Grover and Nelson. Although I have always been a dog person, I am slowly turning into a cat person. No, wait, actually I am turning into a crazy cat lady. Four pets was not enough for me, so I started to foster stray cats for a local foundation, Stichting Scheldekat.

Animals are great, but I like people too ;) So from time to time I volunteer for a foundation that organizes holidays and daycare for disabled people and children.

Furthermore, if I have time left, I love to read, swim, bake (and eat), play board games and watch series. But most of all I love to discover the world and other cultures. That's why I signed up for this project, to discover the world in a slightly less conventional way.

Since I love to bake, I would be absolutely thrilled if people could send me their (or their mother's or grandmother's of course) best recipe for cookies.
