About Janniek...

Hello everybody,
I am Janniek and I live in the Netherlands, I am 15 years old. At this moment I am still at school, there I follow the scientific subjects like chemistry (my favorite!), physics, biology, economics and mathematics. I love making pictures and playing hockey, I also like to do fun things together with my friends.

I like travelling and want to see the world. I would like to get to know new cultures and learn new languages. This is also why I signed up for postcrossing, I would love to see where you come from and what you do in your country.

I will be happy with any card but to give you some ideas i like;
* cards from you country/place/culture (to be honest, I don't like the cards with more than one picture, I prefer cards with one very beautiful picture of your country and culture),
* vintage/retro cards,
* photography cards,
* cards with (old) camera's,
* cards of (cute) animals,
* nature cards (especially with mountains! or the beach),
* food or recipes (maybe typical from your country) :),
* cards with a map on it
* maxicards (this is not a big card, on this page you can see what it is http://www.postcrossing.com/blog/2012/03/19/postcard-formats-maxicards)

Please write more than only 'happy postcrossing', I don't like empty cards, here are some ideas of what you could put on the card;
* you could introduce yourself (name, age, work, place, hobby's etc)
* you could tell me something about your country and your culture
* the weather and the date
* your favorite food, book, travel destination etc
* if you speak a language I don't know, you could learn me some sentences in your language
* you could use beautiful stamps or decorate the card

If it is possible use cards of normal size, so it is easy for me to store.

Happy postcrossing! :)
