My name is Janina. I come from a picturesque part of Poland - Kaszuby. I work as a teacher & translator and... a proud mother of two. My work gives me the chance to combine occupation with passion.

I adore autumn, art, counting stars and contact with nature. Cycling and water sports are also perfect for me. I am unable to live without literature and music reflecting my mood. Moreover, etnography is within my interests (traditions, folk costumes, festivals, food, ornaments etc).

As it comes to postcards:

I would appreciate anything connected with the above mentioned topics as well as all that could give me a glimpse into your world :) Postcards reflecting your country or town/region, customs or cuisine would also be a great option.

Postcards which show doors/widnows/book are highly welcome as well :)

To be honest I am not too keen on ad cards as well as Christmas and Easter cards (unless very unique or regional).

Due to the fact that prices of stamps in Poland are exorbitant I frequently send my postcards from Germany.
