Hello there,
I’m Jana and I live with my Mom in a small town in the very west of Germany (right at the Dutch border).

Things I love:
- my family, which comes together from all over the world (Germany, the USA, the Netherlands and Poland)
- animals (okay, slugs freak me out), seahorses are my favorite
- my three female degus Hope, Peanut and Buttercup
- my phone (I know...), because it connects me to all the people I love, contains all my photos and my music
- writing postcards, letters, short stories and diary
- reading books (and listening to audio books)
- movies
- music: some of my favorite artists are MUSE, Bastille, Royal Republic, Johnossi and Tim Vantol; I love to go to concerts and festivals
- traveling: I’ve been to the USA, Canada, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, England, Scotland, Wales, Austria, Italy, Poland, Lithuania, Czechia, Portugal, Croatia (and many different parts of Germany)
- LUSH stuff
- art and design: I studied Fine Art in the Netherlands for a year
- my job: I’m an optician
- creative stuff: photography, huge corkboards with many different things, creative writing/picture projects, patterns, DIY stuff
- nature: just being outside is great!
- everything cozy: candles, stuffed animals (I have too many of those), hammocks
- food: pasta, chocolate, tea and smoothies
- surprising people I love (but I hate to be surprised myself)

No bad thoughts, please! There are enough bad things happening all over the world...

Don’t worry about the postcards you send me. I like any card you pick or make for me (free/extra/selfmade cards are fine, even cool ad-cards). You can write something in your language (with translation) and tell me anything you like (Suggestions: Favorite book (English title), place I should visit, favorite meal, favorite movie, weather, drawing, etc.)
Please put the date on the card!
