Hi, I am Jack, an expat working on railway projects.
I love getting snail mail from all corners of the world. Well, I pursue some other hobbies as well such as exploring countryside and interesting sights, biking, a little bit of swimming (only indoors though).
I have 2 grown-up children and one grand-son.
I would love receiving postcards from all parts of the world.
You can write a few words about your hobbies, your likes or dislikes - just what you want to tell me.
If there would be a wish list it would be about public transport (trams, busses, trolleybuses, trains, funiculars, etc). No boats, please. I know that it might be a problem but if you could put your card blank into an envelope. If it’s also possible for you to add a few used public transport tickets that would be great. And if you share the fondness for philately you might like to put on such a letter many small denomination stamps. Interesting geographical features such as the lowest, highest, middle, easternmost, westernmost, northernmost, southernmost points of a country or continent would be an asset as well. I’m also interested in cards depicting political borders between countries (although such cards are rare) and natural, i.e., geographical borders (e.g., watershed divide). But it’s all up to you.
If you know an interesting tram, bus or train line to recommend for an outing and you think it’s not that well known – please feel free to do so.
And if I may ask you – no Christmas and Easter cards, thank you.
I will try my best to send you a card you like. I love finding the perfect card for someone. It is one of my favourite things about this project. Can I expect the same from you?
